Penetration Testing: What You Actually Get

A penetration test isn't a scan that spits out a score. It's a person trying your real defenses the way a real attacker would.

A vulnerability scan lists every crack it can find. A penetration test picks the cracks that matter and shows you whether someone could actually get through them. The value isn't the list — it's the story of how an attacker would chain those findings into a real breach.

Done well, a test covers your network and web apps, tries common credentials, and checks whether a stolen password from one site unlocks another. You should leave with a prioritized report: what's exploitable today, what to fix first, and what's noise you can ignore.

At Drill Cyber and Security, we test the way a real adversary moves and then sit down with you in plain English to close the gaps. The goal is fewer surprises and a defense that holds when it counts.
